Zalman ShazarZalman Shazar (Shneiur Zalman Robshov) (1889 - October 5, 1974) was the third Israeli president (1963 - 1973). His predecessor was Yitzhak Ben-Zvi (1952 - 1963) and his successor was Ephraim Katzir (1973 - 1978).
