Treaty of GreenvilleThe Treaty of Greenville was signed on August 3, 1795 between a coalition of Native American tribes and the United States following the Native American loss at the Battle of Fallen Timbers. It put an end to the War of the Wabash Confederacy. The United States was represented by General Anthony Wayne, who defeated Native Americans and razed their villages a year earlier at Fallen Timbers. In exchange for monetary compensation the Native Americans turned over to the United States:
