The Mother and the Whore

The Mother and the Whore (La Maman et la putain) (1973) is a rambling, conversational 210-minute French film loosely about a threesome, that explores numerous themes: philosophical, sexual, and political. It was written and directed by Jean Eustache, and stars Jean-Pierre Léaud, Bernadette Lafont and Françoise Lebrun.
