The King s SchoolThe King's School in Canterbury, Kent, established in 597 AD, is one of the oldest schools in the world. It may even be the oldest surviving school. Former pupils include playwright Christopher Marlowe, novelist William Somerset Maugham, film director Carol Reed, cricketer David Gower and astronaut Michael Foale.
