The Judd School

Founded in 1888 as Sir Andrew Judd's Commercial School, Judd School was the first grammar school in the Kent market town of Tonbridge in the United Kingdom.

Supported by the Skinners' Company, a London Livery Company, it quickly grew and moved to its present site in 1896. The school has a strong record of producing academic and sporting success and its alumni include Nobel prize winner Cecil Powell and a number of bishops and military men.
