Soufri reSoufrière is a volcano on the island of Saint Vincent in the West Indies. Its eruption in 1902 killed 1,680 people. There are other similarly named volcanoes nearby - Soufrière Hills on Montserrat and La Grande Soufrière on Guadeloupe.
