Six Masters

The Six Masters. Name of the original governing body of the Royal Grammar School Worcester.

The Governing body of Six Worcester Citizens was set up in 1561 the governing of the school previously being done by the Bishop of Worcester and the Trinity Guild.

Notable Six Masters include:

• C W Dyson Perrins (d.1958)
• Earl Beauchamp Earl of Warwick
