Shellfish

Shellfish is a term used to describe molluscs and crustaceans used as food. Molluscs include the clam, snail, mussel, oyster, and scallop; some crustaceans are the shrimp, lobster, crayfish, and crab. Jewish tradition forbids the eating of shellfish.
