Rann of Kutch

The Rann of Kutch is a marshy region located in the Gujarat state of India that borders the Sind region of Pakistan. This salty lowland, rich in natural gas and home to Siberian migratory birds, is part of India and Pakistan's ongoing border dispute at the Sir Creek. In April 1965, a dispute there was part of the preamble to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965.
