Phon Rau

Thai Navy Insignia

A Phon Rau is the senior most Naval Officer of Thailand and is the equivalent to a Fleet Admiral. The shoulder boards of a Phon Rua are similar in design to those of a United States Fleet Admiral.

The rank of Phon Rua may also be held ceremonially by members of the Thai Royal Family.
