Norman PanamaNorman Panama (1914 - 2003) was an American screenwriter and film director. He collaborated with a former schoolfriend, Melvin Frank to form a writing partnership which endured for 3 decades. He also wrote gags for comedians such as Bob Hope and Groucho Marx. The most famous films he directed were the 1962 Danny Kaye film The Court Jester and Bob Hope's 1969 film How to Commit Marriage.
