Naftali Herz ImberNaftali Herz Imber (1856 - October 8, 1909) was an Austrian Jewish poet and zionist. He wrote and composed the Israeli national anthem Hatikva ("Hope"). He was born in Zloczow, Galicia, Austrian Hungarian Empire.
