Manah was the goddess of fate and destiny, and the daughter of the moon-god Hubal, worshipped in pre-Islamic Arabia..

The manat is the currency unit of Azerbaijan. 1 Azeri manat (AZM) = 100 gopiks.

Manat was also the designation of the Soviet rouble in both Azeri and Turkmen.
