The Jordanian dinar (ISO 4217 code JOD) is the Official Currency of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. For the past 9 years, the Central Bank of Jordan had supported a fixed exchange rate between the Jordanian dinar and the US Dollar, the exchange rate had been around:
