Miscellany

The Hobart High School Brickies won the state football championship in 1987, 1989, 1991, and 1993. To this day, old people and former high school football players whose lives have grown empty and gray fill the Brickie Bowl every Friday evening. There are many signs in Hobart advertising "Downtown Hobart" and pointing the way there. Once you've arrived in downtown Hobart, you will doubtless notice many drunks stumbling to and fro. These are the barhoppers, but in Hobart, they merely crawl. Hobart's bars sell only sadness.
