Good Eats

Good Eats is a television program that airs in North America on Food Network. Hosted by Alton Brown, Good Eats covers many topics, including episodes "demystifing" herbs, uses for tofu, and how to make the perfect chocolate chip cookie. As the Bill Nye of Food Network, Alton explores the science behind the cooking, the history of different foods, and the advantages of different kinds of cooking equipment, especially multi-purpose tools like aluminum foil. Generally episodes of Good Eats revolve around a theme ingredient, but they can also just involve a theme, such as Thanksgiving or "Man Food".

The series was airing as of September 2004.
