Festus Gontebanye Mogae (born August 21, 1939) is the president of Botswana. He succeeded Quett Masire as president in 1998.

He studied economics at Oxford University and then worked as a civil servant. He has worked for the International Monetary Fund and the Bank of Botswana. He was vice-president of Botswana from 1992.
