Dinar
The word Dinar traces its orgin back to the Roman currency, the denarius (pl. denarii). Numerous countries today use Dinar as the name for their currencies:
Most of the countries using dinar as the name of their currency are Arabic-speaking or were once part of the Ottoman Empire. The Arabic for dinar is " دينار ".
