Armed Forces Day

Several nations of the world hold an annual Armed Forces Day to recognize and honor their military forces. It is similar to the Veteran's Day or Remembrance Day.

Chile

In Chile, the Día de las Fuerzas Armadas is on September 19.

United States

In the U.S., Armed Forces Day is celebrated on the third Saturday in May. There were previously separate Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Days.
