Alpuente

Alpuente is a town in the province of Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain.

It was the capital of a Spanish Muslim kingdom in the 11th century, ruled by the dynasty of Beni Kasim, an offshoot of the more famous group that ruled the Ebro Valley as the Banu Qasi some centuries before.
