Algeria at the 2004 Summer Olympics is represented by Algerian Olympic Committee and abbreviated ALG. 80 athletes from Algeria are competing 10 sports in Athens, Greece.

Algeria first competed in the Olympics in 1964. The 2004 games are Algeria's 9th appearance at the Olympics. Algeria entered the Athens games having won a total of 12 medals, including 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics. All of these medals were in athletics (3 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze) and boxing (1 gold, 5 bronze).

Djabir Said Guerni was Algeria's flag bearer in the opening ceremony. Algeria's national anthem, "Qassaman" ("We Pledge"), is played when the country wins a gold medal.
